Arena Commons · 1809 Pearl Street, Austin
Where Arena began. A restored Austin home on a private, gated compound, with three private rooms, two semi-private spaces, a hosting kitchen, and a patio deck beneath the oaks, with a bonus courtyard. Available to you, by arrangement, for events worth protecting.

The place
Before Arena Hall opened on South Congress, this was the foundation, an address on Pearl Street where strangers became friends and ideas became ventures. It remains ours. Today we keep it as a private venue: open in format, careful in company, and given over each season to a small number of hosts.
The spaces
Each space keeps the character of the building, paneled, planted, and warm, while taking on the shape of your gathering.

At the heart of it
A full hosting kitchen anchors the property, with marble, open shelves, and a proper range. Bring your own chef and caterer, or let our team handle the whole of it.
Culinary experiences
Every gathering is unique, and so is the dining experience that accompanies it.
Rather than offering a fixed in-house menu, we thoughtfully curate each event with a select network of Austin's premier catering partners, chefs, beverage professionals, and hospitality teams. This approach lets us match the culinary experience to the occasion, whether that's an intimate multi-course dinner, a family-style celebration, an elevated cocktail reception, a breakfast meeting, or a full-day corporate retreat.
Our team will guide you through the process and recommend the right partners based on your event, guest count, style, and budget.

1809 Pearl Street, the Inn at Pearl Street, c. 1993
About the building
The Inn at Pearl Street opened here in 1993, a beloved Austin bed & breakfast, and much of what made it special has been kept: the porch, the light, the sense that you have arrived somewhere with a memory. We restored it as a private venue rather than erasing it.
It became the first home of Arena, and it holds that still. Stepping inside feels like finding somewhere the rest of the city does not know about, now given over entirely to high-touch gatherings, real conversation, and evenings worth protecting.
